Welcome to Nimvio. Nimvio offers a lot of flexibility, whether you want to move quickly and see the final result or prefer to dive deeper into the product. We have you covered.
In summary, there are multiple scenarios for using Nimvio:

- If you are a marketer who is used to traditional CMS but finds headless CMS too difficult to work with, don't worry, Nimvio has got you covered.
In this tutorial, we will focus on website development in Nimvio using predefined themes and templates. So, no matter what your experience was with Headless CMS, you can have your website up and running in no time.
Create Website from Themes
With Nimvio, you can easily jumpstart your website by selecting from a diverse range of themes, making it the fastest option available. However, If you feel that creating project from scratch is more suitable for your needs, you can start with Developer Getting Started. Let's get started!
Step 1: Get an account
If you haven't yet created a Nimvio account, visit https://www.app.nimvio.com/sign-up/ to sign up for a free account. Afterwards, go to https://app.nimvio.com/ and sign in.
If you encounter any difficulties during the sign-up process, you can refer to the Get Started to Nimvo guide for assistance.
Step 2: Create a project
In Nimvio, you have the option to start your project either from scratch or by selecting a theme. Click the +New Project button to create a new Nimvio project.
Step 3: Start from the theme
If you opt for a theme, just enter the name you want to give to your project. Choose the Start from Theme option to start a project from a Nimvio theme. Alternatively, if you prefer to create from scratch just follow Developer Getting Started.
Step 4: Choose a theme
When the theme selection pop-up shows up, you can select the one that fits your project the best. Before making your selection, you might want to see how the theme looks and what the code looks like. To preview the theme, hover over the theme card and click on the "Preview" button. Similarly, to view the code repository, you can click on the "Open Repository". For instance, let's try the built-in themes by Nimvio, such as Nimvio Royal Blue on White.
Step 5: Wait for theme preparation
Theme preparation may take some time, as it depends on the size of the resources involved. So, please be prepared to wait.
When it's done, click "Take Me There" button, and the Nimvio app will take you to the website module where you can view your live website.
Step 6: Build for the website preview
To proceed, you need to create the website using the resources provided by the selected theme, such as the content, template, and media (see Glossary for terms that are use in Nimvio). Simply click on the "Build for Website Preview" button to initiate this process.
Step 7: Explore theme resources
The saying goes that "Great things require patience and time".
In the meantime, you can explore the resources that have been provided for you, such as selecting Content Items on the left or accessing the Media menu at the top.
Step 8: The wait is over
Congratulations! Your website preview is up and running! To access the URL, simply click the "Open" button located on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
